Yosemite National Park, late afternoon!
I couldn't resist the stark drama of the sun on that amazing slab of rock!
Inspired by Ansel Adams
He has captured on film small trees against larger ones and with varying colors and textures. The small trees usually 'win' the most attention. This is my version!
El Capitan - Yosemite National Park
Granite wonder! How such a mammoth slab of rock can even come into existence is wondrous to contemplate!
Not sure of the name of this waterfall....but the entire scene is wonderful!
So I will, for now, call this - Yosemite Plate #3
A Reflecting Pool in Yosemite National Park
As it says in the Title - the right side 'busier water' due to an elk quenching his thirst as I was photographing the pool!
The Lodge at Yosemite
The HUGE chunk of rock behind the theme of the Lodge itself - gives a very rugged impression!
Yosemite and one of the rocks in which many faces can be seen!
And the little tree says to the mammoth rock - "I'm bigger than you are, you know!"
Yosemite Plate 4
An Archway? A Wishbone Look Alike? And sheer rock!
What types of textures, shapes, and lines cannot be found at Yosemite! What a gift to our planet!!
